Baked Oatmeal
{After I had Clementine, a sweet friend brought me not only dinner, but BREAKFAST for the next day. I was so grateful as mornings were tough getting the kids out the door with a newborn. But I was even more grateful because it was the most delicious oatmeal ever. Now I make it for new mommas to pass on the courtesy she showed me. I also LOVE to make it when guests come in town for an easy and impressive breakfast}
Ingredients & Directions:
2/3 C oil
1 C sugar
2 eggs
Mix well, then add:
4 C oats
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 1/2C Milk (can sub almond milk, etc)
1 Chopped apples
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 C chopped walnuts
(raisins optional)
*Or make with peaches or strawberries or any berry*
Serve warm with milk poured over the top.
